On This Day In History

On April 19, 1775, Colonial militia drove back a force of British regulars sent out to seize weapons and ammunition reportedly stockpiled by the Colonists.

One can imagine how contemporary figures might have reacted -

The Establishment Media:  The rubes have disclosed that they are merely racist, sexist, homophobes (showing how irrelevant the Media is).

Hillary:  "This was an intolerable assault on lawfully constituted authority."

Bill:  "These deranged people have been misled and manipulated by hate-pamphleteers."

Obama:  "They should THANK US for all we've done."
